Technically, my small ceramic work is wheel-thrown, high-fired. The decoration on the surface is often hand-carved to create an image of water, lightning, or other atmospheric illusion. All work is glazed on the interior so that it can be functional, although the function is often of a more spiritual nature as a container for a note, a dream, or ashes.
