Very impressive website :-) I love the use of colours and can almost reach out and feel the textures. It's great to see your continuing evolution as an artist, from the clay and porcelains when I last saw your work, to this wondrous and amazing murals. As always, your personal radiance shines through so that the audience can appreciate your inner glow. Looking forward to seeing more of your work in the next half of your life.

I adore what you've done with your setup and graphics. I recently built a new home page of my own, so I'm doubly impressed.
Thanks you so much

Hi, Barb! Happened on your site by accident. What fun to see some of the beauty you create. We pray the current economy isn't cutting into your livelihood too much. (It is mine!) Love from us, Pam and John

I saw the article about you and your work in the "Clay" magazine and was searching for more information. Your work inspired me to have my high school students make fetish jars in my ceramics class. Where could I find background information on fetishes? What inspired you to make them?

Hi. My friend and I would each like to buy one of your porcelain pieces, but each with a bird on it. I wonder if you'll have them at your upcoming show, or if we could talk to you about it? My number, if you have an opportunity to call, is 415-595-1181. Thank you. Cris

I like you work, mostely. It is hard to evaluate from a small picture, you have to be there. I do murals, mostely in clay, but colourfull. I know, the spelling, the canadian way, colour. You must be very busy, all those assignments, hopefully one day I might be as busy. I have done painting, pottery and sculpture since 1953, but I am still strogling for suvivial. As a sideling I work with forensic identification for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, you know, 3D reconstruction on skulls, ageprogression, etc.
Write me if you feel like it.
Peter.

Hi- I just wanted to say I like your wall murals a lot.. I've been a graphic designer in San Diego for 20+ years, and your sense of color is wonderful. I stumbled across your work because I was looking for info on a new client / one of the sites that came up by chance had your bear art that was posted as a gift for a Mary Dunlap / I was captivated by your imagery and did a search for your name, and here we are. Nice stuff. Isn't in internet amazing?

Your work is beautiful, but I'm wondering - how do you hang the clay wall art? Is it one piece, or do you "assemble" it on the wall piece by piece. Just curious. Thanks, CK

This web site is a work of art itself. Beautifully laid out and easy to navigate, it's a wonderful teaser to Barbara's fabulous work - a tribute to her exquisite art. I especially enjoy seeing some of the commissioned works at locations away from the bay area.
